Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone launched in Early Access on September 10 for about $25. It’s the standalone version of a well-known Half-Life: Alyx mod, playable in PCVR and on a regular monitor or Steam Deck.
Day one includes three story contracts, challenge modes, weapon customization, and a home base that works especially well in VR because you actually walk around and handle your loadout. Early coverage says the shooting already feels finished, even if the campaign is still short.
It did not wait for Steam Frame. It just showed up, took the contract, and left a review score on the table.
