New Flat2VR Report Tallies Public VR Mod Builds Over 40 Days

Elliott Tate put out edition two of the Flat to VR Release Report. Window is August 10 to September 18, 2026. Same idea as last time: he reads the Flat2VR Modding Discord, then checks GitHub, Nexus, Patreon, and the actual project pages so it is not just vibes. Community ledger. Not a Flat2VR Studios product post.

The short version of his count: those 40 days shipped more public builds than the previous 90-day report. He also backfilled stuff he missed last time and cleaned up dates.

If you only skim one thing, skim the PCVR pile:

KisakCOD kept moving : an open-source reimplementation of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Vice City VR picked up DLSS and water work.
VOID’s BioShock line added Infinite plus SteamVR / Steam Link.
Halo MCC VR is still eating campaign.
Witcher 3 VR is in the 0.9.x range with projection and upscaling experiments.
Cyberpunk 2077 VR got physical mag reloads.
BOTW BetterVR,
RE4 Remake VR,
Silent Hill 1999 VR,
Forza Horizon,
Valheim posted public builds,
Anomaly posted public builds,

If PCVR is not officially popping off right now with a full blown renaissance then I don’t know what is.

UEVR folks were busy too. Profiles and first-person work on stuff like Halo: Campaign Evolved, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Dead Island 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Callisto Protocol, Dune: Awakening, Palworld. Tools showed up next to that: MelonMCP, uevr-mcp, CheekyFoveatedDLSS, OFXR Bridge, OptiScaler / DLSS 5 paths, an OBS mirror layer.

Quest standalone ports are in the same document. Separate pile from native PCVR, but he logged them.

That is the highlight reel. Version numbers, links, and the “did this actually ship” check are in the report. Go read the source yourself if you are about to install something.
